Etchinghill Village Hall in Kent

Our  village hall is the pride and joy of the hamlet and has excellent facilities, high levels of cleanliness and is regularly maintained to a very high standard. As such it has received the highest award given to village halls - Hallmark category 3

ETCHINGHILL VILLAGE HALL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED but maintenance during the current lockdown has carried on - the car park has been re-lined; a new notice board has been erected, the grass cut and the hedges trimmed.

As soon as it is safe to do so, we will welcome our residents and visitors to 'the new normal'

The hall is open to residents and visitors alike for a variety of public and private functions as diverse as pilates groups through to pickleball, badminton, ballroom dancing and weddings

The hall is situated within its owns grounds and has uninterrupted views across fields to the North Downs

There is an amenity field opposite the hall's entrance for children to play on and a pétanque playing area to one side.

The hall has a fully equipped kitchen and the toilet facilities cater for the disabled

The pétanque piste shown in the photo, was constructed by local residents and volunteers

All of these facilities, coupled with the hall's high standards and location, make it an ideal venue for wedding celebrations, engagement parties and other social functions

The village hall is managed by the hall's trustees and is a separate entity to the Residents' Association. Please, therefore, ensure that all enquiries are directed as below

To enquire about hall hire costs, regular functions and availability, please call the Duty Manager on 07514 758936

Please leave a message if there is no answer and a Duty Manager will get back to you as soon as possible

There are a number of regular events being held in the hall - pilates, pickleball, badminton, ballroom dancing, a mother and toddler group and quilting, to name just a few! In recent years, annual shopping trips by coach to the Christmas market in the beautiful city of Bruges have been a popular event

On every Monday (excluding Bank holidays) we hold an Open House from 10 am to noon where residents can chat and play games whilst enjoying tea, coffee and biscuits. Public speakers feature around once a month and hold talks on a wide variety of subjects
