VILLAGE HALL - IMPORTANT INFORMATION & CONTACT DETAILS

Updated 15 July 2022

VILLAGE HALL AGM

The AGM was be held on Sunday 15th May 2022 at 6 pm in the hall. This was the first AGM to be held in 2 years, because of Covid restrictions.

The following is a synopsis of what took place. The formal minutes of the meeting are available on application from the the duty manager by calling 07514 758936

A panel of trustees was formally elected which means that the current management team remains unchanged for 2022.

18 members of the public attended but sadly new residents, who may have recently moved into the area, did not attend and the group primarily comprised existing regular supporters

Because of spiralling building costs, a planned storage extension to the premises is on hold pending research into more cost effective means of construction, than the brick-built building for which planning has been approved

The missing basket ball hoop, recently damaged by a F&HDC truck, will be replaced in due course by the council and its insurers

The financial accounts were distributed and read out and have yet to be audited

Thanks were given to the management team by several residents for the hard work of the trustees who have managed to keep the hall running smoothly and financially viable, not only throughout the pandemic but since the hall was built in 2003

The next AGM will be held on Sunday 14th May 2023 at 6 pm (date to be confirmed)
